Atuilo is an improvisational mixed-media assemblage that appears like a free-flowing drawing made of colorful strands floating in space. The piece is constructed within a white triangular frame and features goniochromatic metallic stands juxtaposed with laid-in designs and transparent sections of loose, nonfunctional weaving. The weaving adds a sense of texture to the piece while the metallic stands create a pulsing energy, drawing the viewer's attention. Atuilo aims to challenge traditional notions of composition and form.
